April is known for its unpredictable weather. We long for the sunshine of summer, but April is known for its showers and in the words of the late and great Prince, ‘Sometimes it snows in April’ (which it did the April that he passed!). Making friends with unpredictability, or what pema chödrön calls "groundlessness," is a profound result of a consistent Yoga practice. We can often get stuck in our own patterns and habits, and sometimes we need to shake things up a bit. Can you only take one style of Yoga or only go to one teacher? What if you tried something different? Would it feel uncomfortable at first because it's new? But perhaps it would help you access other parts of yourself...
We have included new things on our schedule to shake things up for you. Our Friday Nights include Cuban Salsa, Ecstatic Dance, Lynne Page's Dance Kitchen, and Candle-lit Kirtans. Stay tuned for more exciting things coming down the pipe.
