We will spend the first day diving into the deep and rich well of the Bhagavad Gita. The Gita is a glorious text written for everyday humans who may experience the suffering of confusion but have a hankering for healing and resolution. Come to see the bigger picture through specific themes and teachings that will direct you toward Divine Self and the freedom that follows.
This workshop will focus on the hips through the legs, pelvis and lower back. You will be invited to release the deep and historic holding patterns that impede sense of belonging and flow. This strategic vinyasa sequence begins with a dynamic standing series designed to build heat and lead to connection. Lunging series will ease us into the psoas and deeper structural ligaments that facilitate intelligent collaboration. We will end with seated and supine hip openers to encourage deep release and lasting change.
Open to all levels, age 12 and up.
Includes chanting, asana & philosophy woven throughout.

(Packs and memberships do not apply)Turn Toward Love
This session will focus on some of the more sophisticated philosophical tenets of the Bhagavad Gita. We will take a look beyond the key concepts and dig into the inner core and more consequential messages of the Gita. Taking time to break down some of the Sanskrit and lesser known slokas that carry great teachings within. Often it is our western mind that takes comfort in rigid ideas. The Gita will help us soften into a fuller and much more accurate understanding of innermost self.
This workshop will focus on heart openers and twists through the neck, shoulders and spine. We will open with a creative and gentle neck/shoulder practice that will coax these often over-burdened areas toward healthier energetic alignment. Next, we flow through standing pose variations designed to connect the upper and lower body for optimal integration. Primed for the spinal movements of twists and heart openers, we will explore these poses as humble offerings of devotion and gratitude.
Open to all levels, ages 12 and up.
Includes chanting, asana & philosophy woven throughout.
