(packs and Die-Heart Membership apply)The Sunday Special is at the heart of who we are. We come together as a community of practice to support ourselves, our families, and ultimately the world. All proceeds from the Sunday Special go different non-profits, sometimes local, sometimes global.
In this two-hour session, we have the luxury of time to move our bodies, quiet our minds, and tend to our hearts together. You’ll experience the joy of being part of a community of practice and come out feeling recharged and restored.
April’s proceeds will support the AZAHAR Foundation. AZAHAR was founded by Yogeswari to spread the teachings of Yoga and Arts in the spirit of peace building and fostering cross-cultural communication, primarily in zones recovering from conflict.
The Foundation is serving local communities mainly in Cambodia and Rwanda by facilitating scholarships for international yoga teacher training and empowering young teachers. AZAHAR seeks youth with talent and supports their professional education both locally and internationally through AZAHAR’s scholarship fund. Your participation in this fundraiser enables AZAHAR-supported teachers to offer community classes in Cambodia and in Rwanda.
This session will often feature live music and Mumbai Mix’s delicious chai and samosas will be served afterwards.
Open to all levels 12 years old & up.
