Immune Boosting
Anti-inflammatory Shots by chef natasha

  • Ingredients:

    250 g fresh ginger

    250 g fresh turmeric

    100 ml of water

    3 lemons (juiced)

    ¼ tsp of ground pepper

    Honey, agave, or maple syrup (optional)

  • Method:

    1. Wash the ginger and turmeric, but no need to peel, just scrub well under water.

    2. Slice the lemons in half and cut ginger into smaller pieces, if needed.

    3. Using a juicer, juice the turmeric first, followed by the ginger. Then pour 100ml of water in the juicer to get the extra bits out.

    4. Add the lemon juice and pepper to the mix.

    5. It is a strong taste, so feel free to add some honey, agave, or maple syrup to your liking.

    6. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or place in an ice cube tray and freeze the shots into portions.

    Take one portion out the night before or take a few out for the following days.
