Celebrating 2023 Dear friends, The end of a year can be an important moment to hit the pause button and take time to reflect and appreciate all the good stuff, the joy and some silver linings, no matter what kind of year we may have had, or the world has had. We wanted to reflect back with you on this year together and all we have created as a community of practice at Love Supreme Projects. So here goes… 5,600 of you practised together 40,000 times (up from 13,500 last year). We hosted 1,650 classes, and we held 55 Kirtans. Folks zoomed in from 57 countries, including Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and India. Our team grew to 26 people and we served up 15,400 cups of chai, ate 17,000 cookies, and 1,600 samosas (yes, we actually calculated this!). We hosted 170 free classes through WYKD & our Kirtan Circles. We raised over £10,000 through our Sunday Specials for various local and global non-profits from Unicef to Spitz music. Our sliding pay scale continues to achieve what we wanted it to, which is to create a diverse and inclusive community. Thank you to all of you for making this possible! We wanted to give a special shout out to the five people who practised the most this year. Drumroll please… They are Edita, Yael, Kelly, Sarah A, and Jane, all with over 188 visits! You are officially our most die heart Love Supreme Projects students and we thank you for the inspiration! A community of practice has blossomed and we can all revel in what we have created together, for ourselves and each other. May this New Year continue to bring us back to our roots, unite us, and give us joy, as well as help us to spread it. Here is to a better than imagined 2024! X The Love Supreme Projects Team
