Huma moved to London from Islamabad at 21 as a student. More than 20 years on she is still here; a devoted student of her inner and outer world, here for the messy and mystical human experience. To share with others what she has learned through many incredible teachers and years of personal practice is a huge honour for Huma.

Yoga is an invitation to explore techniques, teachings and technologies that coax presence back into our bodies. The classes Huma teaches are devotional and intuitive; inviting compassion and honouring tradition with deep listening. Through the poetry of movement and breath, love and connection, her aim is that she can teach and refine how to hold and host our natural state of ease and joy in the organism of our exquisitely intelligent sensate bodies.

The Yoga tradition reminds us time and again that we are imbued with incredible life force, a brilliant mind, pure heart and vitality. The yoga mat is a sacred and magical space where we can reclaim that innate power and remember our true nature.

“I have been a student of Huma’s for many years and am ever grateful for the authentic, grounded, wise, loving and humble way she embodies and teaches yoga; one that opens and cultivates a deep rootedness in our bodies and the body of mother earth so that we may open to our most expansive, cosmic selves. one that naturally and effortlessly weaves together the anatomy and spirit of yoga with each posture and breath; reuniting us in the divine, human beings we are and awakening us to this miraculous life. Huma is a gift.” Annabel G
