Hi! I am Ben. I was born in Machynlleth, Mid-Wales and grew up in the borderlands of Herefordshire. My study of music began at the age of 11 and I started consistent professional work from 15 onwards. Being primarily a Bass player (the Double and the Electric varieties) has enabled me to be involved and experience many forms, shapes, colours and situations of music.

In the last 18 years I have been lucky enough to study with and perform with some great maestros of Indian Classical music. Amritpal Singh Rasiya of the Punjab Gharana in the study of Tabla and rhythmic concept and Calcutta educated Sitar player Clem Alford in the realms of raga and melody.
